My name is Amod Sabnis, and I'm originally from Pune, India. I'm currently a junior at Iowa State University, studying Aerospace Engineering with a minor in Non-Destructive Evaluation. This summer, I had the opportunity to intern at the Centre for Non-Destructive Evaluation at IIT Madras, where I worked on making simulations on Compton Backscatter Imaging.

Alongside my studies, I serve as the treasurer of the International Student Council, helping to support and connect students from diverse backgrounds. In my free time, I enjoy playing tennis and watching movies.

I'm passionate about designing affordable and sustainable spacecraft systems that prioritise safety while reducing costs and environmental impact. I'm excited to join the Edge of Space Academy to build new skills and collaborate with others who share my enthusiasm for advancing space exploration responsibly.
