Hi, I'm Arissa! I am a rising sophomore at the University of Iowa currently pursuing a double major in Physics and Chemistry and a minor in Math.

I'm interested in the intersection between physics and chemistry, and how particles on a microscale interact with each other and affect our environment. I've also become more interested in space physics, and had a great time exploring it these past few weeks. After undergrad, I plan on going to grad school to pursue a career in research.

Outside of school, I'm interested in ethics and philosophy. I'm the current president and founder of Ethics Bowl at UIowa, and my team and I are excited to be competing this fall! I'm also a big fan of leaving extensive reviews on my letterboxd, and I love to read and paint.
