Biography

Hey there! I am Naysha Jain, a student from Delhi, India, pursuing a double major in Physics and Computer Science with a minor in astronomy at Knox College, Illinois.

My true fascination lies in astrophysics and exploring the mysteries of the cosmos, our origins, and the potential for extraterrestrial life. With my computational abilities, I aspire to make significant contributions to the astronomical community and collaborate on advancing technology.

Prof. Stephen Hawking and Richard Feynman have significantly influenced my interest in the black hole paradigm and everyday physics.

Apart from academics, I find solace in classical dance - Kathak, that I have training in from the past 10 years.

My current research focuses on the spectral study of galaxies and star formation using narrow band techniques.

Most importantly, I had an enriching experience at the Edge of Space Academy, where I learned about mission execution, instrumentation, and also carried data analysis of cosmic ray flux alongside like-minded individuals.
