Tessa's interests lie within the nexus of the environment, health, and technology; utilizing her strong background in electronics and programming, she engages in both independent and faculty-guided exploratory research that provides insight into the history and trajectory of equitable accessibility and population health.

She intends to take a gap year to experience real-world applications of GIS and programming in her current engineering internship before returning to academia to earn a doctoral degree in Computer Science and Earth Science.

Away from her love of pursuing knowledge, she enjoys video games, building PCs, and relaxing at cat cafes.
